Here will be listed some organizations that are worth your money and that you should consider supporting. A few dollars will go a long way.
While Gallagher Ammunition will be donating a portion of the profits of this business to the organizations listed below, it's also suggested that you consider visiting the below pages and supporting these organizations. They are doing some heavy lifting that's necessary to defend your rights, often in court in key cases.
It should be pointed out that the reason that unconstitutional executive orders have been overturned at different points over the past few years ("Definition of Engaged in the Business as a Dealer," "Factoring Criteria for Firearms with Attached Stabilizing Braces," as a few examples), and various state and federal laws which have been successfully stopped from passing or have been challenged after being passed, is because people have wanted them to stopped / be overturned and because the below organizations have taken part in court challenges that have helped ensure said stopping / overturning / toppling actually happens. Without further ado, here's the list of organizations worth your money - donate to them:at the links below:
Firearms Policy Coalition Action Foundation - tax deductible to contribute
FPC's cases and legal resources, for your information (includes form link to submit a possible case for FPC's review)
Donating to Gun Owners of America
Donating to Gun Owners Foundation - tax deductible to contribute
Gun Owners Litigation / cases, for your information
3. Second Amendment Foundation
Donating to Second Amendment Foundation
Note: SAF has advanced a court case against California's unconstitutional 11 percent excise tax that applies in top of other taxes against firearms, precursor parts, and ammunition. The case is Jaymes v. Maduros: https://saf.org/jaymes-v-maduros/
I'm adding a recommendation to donate to the CRPA Foundation here because like the others I've mentioned above, it's a tax deductible option and because CRPA got behind the Rhode v. Bonta case which is the one case that is challenging California ammunition restrictions (and is having some success, although the outcome is not yet decided as of late 2024).
For those wondering if the case submittals that go to, for example, FPC or SAF (as a couple of examples) result in the organizations' lawyers finding plaintiffs and eventually winning cases against the federal (and also state) governments... the answer is yes.
ADDITIONAL ORGANIZATIONS THAT YOU SHOULD CONSIDER SUPPORTING THAT GALLAGHER AMMUNITION ALSO SUPPORTS
5. Mountain States Legal Foundation
"Mountain States Legal Foundation is a non-profit law firm, dedicated to restoring those rights enshrined in the Constitution, at zero legal fees to its clients. MSLF is focused on protecting property rights and economic liberty, defending the right to keep and bear arms, championing free speech and association, and upholding the principle of equal protection."
6. New Civil Liberties Alliance.
Little known yet having had significant accomplishments at the U.S. Supreme Court, the New Civil Liberties Alliance has defended the American people from the problems associated with an overreaching state and handed Americans a victory by way of their help in overturning the Chevron deference. The list of their case work goes on for multiple pages and thankfully they have been effective at keeping some of the worst of current government's regulations and laws at bay. They are also the only group, along with the NCPPR, that was known to have challenged the SEC's so-called Diversity Rule that has allowed the federal government to fine and even take over boards of companies in the United States when those companies decide they want to go public by being listed on NASDAQ. The precursor to this unconstitutional rule was a law in California that was found unconstitutional and was overturned, New Civil Liberties Alliance describes itself as "a nonpartisan, nonprofit civil rights group founded by prominent legal scholar Philip Hamburger to protect constitutional freedoms from violations by the Administrative State. NCLA’s public-interest litigation and other pro bono advocacy strive to tame the unlawful power of state and federal agencies and to foster a new civil liberties movement that will help restore Americans’ fundamental rights." (Link to NCPPR's site here.)
On May 13, 2022, after a lengthy non-jury trial in Crest v. Padilla, California Superior Court Judge Maureen Duffy-Lewis ruled in favor of the plaintiffs who had challenged SB 826, one of California’s two board diversity statutes, as violating the California Constitution. The complaint in Crest v. Padilla was filed in 2019 by three California taxpayers who sought to enjoin the California Secretary of State from using taxpayer funds in effectuating or ensuring compliance with SB 826. The California Secretary of State has not yet indicated whether it intends to appeal the Court’s order. This verdict follows a similar judgment that struck down AB 979, the other California board diversity statute, in April of 2022. The Securities and Exchange Commission (federal) Diversity rule which allows for unconstitutional controls and effectively takeovers of executive teams of companies in America is based on the aforementioned California laws that have since been declared formally unconstitutional and stricken down by a court, yet the NCLA and NCPPR must fight on against this and other abuses of power in the courts. In another case the SEC is attempting to impose "climate related policies" against American companies which the NCLA and NCPPR are also addressing.
If we cannot own and control what happens with businesses we create in the United States of America without government being able to step in and interfere directly in the policy of the business or even take over the board of an executive team then we cannot have business in the United States. That is why these kinds of cases need attention and that is part of why the NCLA deserves your support.
